Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 21 August 2026.

1. Identification and acceptance

The website https://quali-food.com/ (the “Site”) operates under the name QualiFood from the Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the Site, its content, resources, courses and tools. By using the Site, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using the Site.

2. Purpose and scope of the Site

QualiFood shares applied knowledge and offers resources relating to food safety and quality, allergen management, primary production, food service, postharvest, food loss and waste, risk assessment and other agri-food system topics. The Site may include articles, guides, courses, videos, calculators, self-assessments, downloadable materials and contact channels.

3. Informational and technical nature

The content is intended for information, education and technical support. It does not replace professional advice tailored to each situation, specialist assessment, laboratory analyses, decisions by the competent authority or consultation of applicable legislation currently in force.

Although efforts are made to keep information up to date and based on reliable sources, scientific knowledge, technical criteria and regulations may change. Before making decisions with health, regulatory, contractual or financial consequences, users must verify the information relevant to their jurisdiction and specific circumstances.

4. Tools, calculators and self-assessments

The tools on the Site produce indicative results based on the data, assumptions and options entered by the user. Their usefulness and accuracy depend, among other factors, on the quality of those data, the selected method and correct interpretation of the results.

Users are responsible for reviewing the data they enter, validating the results and determining whether the tool is suitable for the intended use. No result should, on its own, be interpreted as certification, a professional opinion, regulatory approval, a guarantee of food safety or a substitute for a comprehensive assessment.

5. Intellectual property

Original content created for QualiFood, including texts, designs, developments, tools and educational materials, is protected by applicable law and belongs to its respective authors or rights holders. Third-party content, trademarks, videos, images, publications and cited documents belong to their rights holders and are used or linked in accordance with the relevant permissions, licences or terms.

References to organisations, institutions, standards or external sources do not imply sponsorship, endorsement or an institutional relationship with QualiFood unless expressly stated.

6. Permitted use

Unless a resource specifies different terms, users may:

  • consult content for personal, educational or internal professional purposes;
  • use the tools to support analysis and decision-making;
  • share links to the original content on the Site; and
  • quote brief excerpts with source identification and a link to QualiFood, respecting copyright.

Downloadable materials may contain specific notices, licences or terms that take precedence for that resource.

7. Prohibited use

Without prior written authorisation, users may not:

  • substantially reproduce, publish or distribute content from the Site;
  • sell, sublicense or commercially exploit QualiFood materials;
  • remove authorship notices, attributions or references;
  • present content, tools or results as their own or as official certifications;
  • alter and redistribute materials in a way that could mislead others about their origin or meaning; or
  • interfere with the operation or security of the Site, attempt unauthorised access or use automated processes that place a disproportionate load on the Site.

8. Third-party content and links

The Site may link to or embed external services and content, such as YouTube videos, publications, documents or institutional websites. Those resources are governed by their respective providers’ terms and policies. QualiFood does not control their availability, updates, accessibility or privacy practices.

9. Availability and changes

QualiFood may correct, update, reorganise, suspend or remove content and functionality when necessary. It may also carry out maintenance or experience technical interruptions. Efforts will be made to preserve the integrity and availability of the Site, but continuous or error-free operation is not guaranteed.

10. Privacy and cookies

The processing of personal data and use of tracking technologies are described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy (EU), which form part of the Site’s information framework. The contact form requests express consent to process the submitted data for the purpose of responding to the enquiry.

11. Courses, services and future contracts

These terms currently govern general access to the Site and its available resources. Future registration for or purchase of courses, consultancy, audits, training or other paid services may be subject to specific terms, including scope, price, payment method, availability, cancellation and refunds, which must be communicated before the contract is entered into. In the event of a discrepancy, those specific terms will prevail for the relevant service.

12. Liability and legal rights

QualiFood accepts no liability for decisions based solely on content or indicative results without appropriate verification, or for consequences attributable to incorrect data, improper use, misinterpretation or third-party services. This provision does not exclude or limit liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms waives or restricts mandatory rights recognised by applicable law, including any rights that may apply to consumers and users.

13. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated to reflect changes to the Site, its services or legislation. The current version will be published on this page and will indicate the date of the latest update. Changes will apply from publication, without affecting acquired rights or specific terms already agreed.

14. Applicable law

These Terms are interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any matter will be resolved before the competent authorities or courts under the applicable rules, without imposing a jurisdiction that restricts legally recognised user or consumer rights.
